Continental Airlines has just announced non-stop service from Cleveland to London, England. Starting in May and continuing through September 26, 2009, passengers from Cleveland International Airport can now fly non-stop to Heathrow Airport in London. The new service, with flights departing daily for the duration of the busy summer season, offers travelers the convenience of flying into London’s most central airport and one of Europe’s biggest hubs.
This comes as a change from Continental’s previous destination—London Gatwick—which is located farther from central London and provides fewer connections and services. The route will be flown with the Boeing 757, which seats 16 passengers in first class and 159 in economy. With the addition of this non-stop service to Europe, Continental will be suspending their non-stop flights from Cleveland to Paris.
